Meeting Room Kitchen is Complete
Thanks to the dedicated, largely volunteer efforts of the library community, a
200 square foot storage area has been transformed into a fully working
kitchen. The Library would like to thank the following people for their hard
work in bringing the kitchen to life; Chris DeMink, Lee Schmidt, Larry Stone,
Wayne McCombs, Colleen Smith, and Larry Sandhaas. Come see your new
community room and kitchen today!
Easter Egg Hunt
The Sherrard Easter Egg Hunt is scheduled for April 15 at 10am behind the
Sherrard Elementary School. Children ages 0-4th grade are welcome to
hunt eggs. There will be prizes, eggs, candy, and lots of fun.
Book Sale
During the Sherrard Wide Yard Sales on June 3rd, the Friends will be sell-
ing books, magazines, videos and other library materials from 8am to noon.
Running low on reading material for the summer? Need a few paperbacks
for a to take along on a vacation or need some children books? Stop at the
Library Gym to get a look at all the treasures the Library has to offer.
Vial of Life
The Friends of the Sherrard Library will be providing the Vial
of Life free to anyone who wants or needs one. These Vials of
Life are possible thanks to the generous contribution from the
Mercer County Health Department in cooperation McKnight
Pharmacy, Stuts Drug Store, Wagner Pharmacy, and the Wal-
Mart Pharmacy. If you are disabled or are taking prescription
drugs, the vial can be vital to your safety. In case of medical
emergency at your home, your individual medical record can
be readily available to responders. Any questions can be directed to the
Library or Iona Schnowske 593-2391.
