Planet
Craft
All crafts will be held on Thursday mornings at
10:30am in the community room.
Week #1 June 14

Flying Saucer
Create an out-of-this world flying saucer to rocket
through the skies.
Week #2 June 21
st
Stars-in-a-Jar Shaker
In this craft we will be bringing a little bit of outer
space right into your house with a mysterious star
shaker.
Week #3 June 28
th
Planet Mobile
Construct a planet mobile! You can gaze at the
planets at night and think about traveling in space.
Week #4 July 5
th
Paper Sun
We are going to make our own sun that is
responsible for lighting up the Earth and providing
us with heat.
Week #5 July 12
th
Command Module and Parachute
Assemble your personal Command Module and
Parachute and help it float back down and make a
safe landing on Earth.
Week #6 July 19
th
Fall into a Black Hole Game
Build your own intergalactic adventures board game
and be the first to explore a black hole and live to
tell about it!
For all of the craft activities, please call the Library
in advance to sign up so we know the amount of
material required.
Please dress appropriately for these crafts.
The
Library is not responsible for any clothing damaged
during craft time.
Bovine Bingo
Sadly, this year our cows will not be able to at-
tend the annual Sherrard Fish Fry. However,
next year there will be a bigger, better event than
in years past. So do not fret, for the cows shall
return.
Harry Potter Party
In celebration of two big Harry Potter re-
leases this summer, the seventh, and final
book Harry Potter and the Deathly Hollows
and the fifth film Harry Potter and the Order
of the Phoenix, we will be hosting a Harry
Potter Party, Thursday, September 20, at
6:00 PM. Come join us for games, prizes,
crafts and snacks. Dress up as your favor-
ite Harry Potter character, best costume will
win a prize! We will discuss the final book,
or what you think could happen in the book.
