To prepare for a fun and busy Summer Reading, events in May are limited. Registration for the all-age reading program and June events will open May 15th. Want to make the most of our Summer services? Follow these steps to ensure your family is ready for Summer fun!
- Apply for a library card - Please bring a Photo ID and two proofs of library district residency. Families can also register their kiddos for a library account - no minimum age required! All juvenile accounts are FINE FREE (due dates still apply)! More information on library accounts is available here.
- Renew your library card - All library accounts expire every three years. To renew, patrons must visit the library with their photo ID to confirm residency within the library service area. Please also bring your library card. You can check your card's expiration by visiting the online catalog. Login using your library card barcode and last four digits for your PIN.
- Visit EngagedPatrons - Self-registration for events is super easy on EngagedPatrons. Be sure to read each event's info / requirements, then enter the participant's information to register for an event. This platform is also how you'll register for the Summer Reading Program!
- Follow us - Be sure to follow us on Facebook and Instagram for sneak peaks into Summer Reading fun and stay updated on our services!
- While you wait, check out a one-week pass to FIGGE Art Museum, German-American Heritage Center, Niabi Zoo, Putnam Museum, or Quad City Botanical Center. More info here. Or, visit Explore More Illinois to receive discounts to museums, events, and theatres throughout Illinois! Login using your library barcode and PIN (last four digits of your barcode).
No Registration is required for our book clubs. Crafts, book bundles, and other events will return in June - along with our Summer Reading Program!
