$16 Annual Increase*
Altogether, that would equal a 0.2527% property tax for Mercer County, and a 0.2513% property tax for Rock Island County. In other words, households in Mercer County would pay $0.2527 per $100 of their property’s assessed value, and households in Rock Island County would pay $0.2513 per $100 of assessed value. For a property with a net taxable value of $40,000, for example, the tax increase would equal an additional $16.
*Property with a net taxable value of $40,000, if voters approve levy increase
