In total, your library taxes would remain less than 03%!
You can see how that compares to other libraries, with varying population sizes.

To address increasing minimum wages, the library is proposing a tax increase.
The question provides voters an opportunity to approve ("yes") or disapprove ("no") of a
0.04% tax increase.
Instead, Sherrard Library relies on YOUR property taxes!
That's less than 1/2 %!

From the Director's Desk:
Join us for Reading is Sweet, Summer Reading 2022!
This Summer is all about sweet treats and READING! Did you know that a child's reading skills decline while out of school? Let us help your family prevent the "Summer Slide" by joining our Summer Reading Program! Each participant can earn rewards as they read throughout summer, with a chance to win a grand prize.
This year, grand prizes will be in two categories: Most Well Read (the participant who reads the most in their age group), and Luck of the Draw (a lucky participant drawn at random)!
Summer Reading is for anyone in the library district - toddlers, children, teens, and even adults can join the fun! Just visit Engaged Patrons, register for the "Summer Reading Program" Event, and collect your logs on opening day - June 13 - or anytime afterward. Please register each participant separately, using their name and age.
We've got a super sweet line-up of Events, including Reading Buddies to help kiddos practice their reading skills, In Person Storytimes, adorable take home paintings, and so much more!
Registration for June Events and Summer Reading Program opens May 20th, 10 AM
