In response to Governor Pritzker's shelter-in-place mandate extension, Sherrard Public Library District will remain CLOSED until Friday, May 1st at 10 a.m.

All item due dates will be extended to mid-May, but items may be returned through the book drop.

I have also made the very difficult decision to cancel all programs through the month of May.  Our story times, crafts, and book clubs are a highlight to our day. However, we believe a successful reopen will require acclimation and additional social distancing.  Our regularly scheduled programs are not conducive to that level of safety. I am deeply sorry, as I know our community looks forward to this time together just as much as we do.

Please continue to utilize the library’s digital services, such as Libby and Axis360, using your library barcode number and the last four digits of the barcode number for your PIN.  For additional e-resources, visit our list of online resources.
